Updates
I have actually been working on my blog, but it's a different blog and it will soon replace this one along with a brand new website to match. It's been fun copying over all of my old blogs from the past 5 years into a new database. It's time consuming, but definitely fun. I'm almost done! I think it's taking so much time because I do it every once in a while on the weekends. Also, I'm reading through all of them and remembering the good times and the bad. I'm hoping to have my new site up in a few weeks and then I'll be back to good ol' blogging again. Quick summary... Spacey Mouse and I went to Philly and got to meet Peaches McGee! He was soooo cute. Yes, I said cute. He really was... and beautiful. I'm a proud Uncle and can't wait to see him again. I had a great time seeing my family and friends and it was very difficult to say goodbye. It's always rough. My old man, SpaceyMouse and I drove down to Wildwood, NJ where we met up with a lot of my family already there. We had a blast! I want to do it again next year. We went on the Spring Shot and that was awesome! If you know the url of my YouTube.com channel, you can take a look at it. I've already posted it. If not, hang tight and I'll post on my new website in a few weeks. I got up and jammed on "Sweet Home Alabama" with my friends from Lost Pint. That was fun! Unfortunately, towards the end of my vacation, I came down with a cold and spent the last few days staying in and resting up. On the last day, my parents had a BBQ and Uncle Bill cooked some great burgers. Recently, I was in Vegas again for a few days and I saw Stone Temple Pilots. Holy S**t! It was the best show I've been to of 2008. I sang along with every song and they put on an amazing show. We eventually made it to the front row and I took some great pics. I'll get around to writing more about it..hopefully....Well, life is about to change for me once again in the very near future and I'm looking forward to the new chapter. I won't be writing much because I'm working on my new site, but stay tuned for my surprise. It's coming in October. Oh! How can I forget? Metallica...of course, I heard their new single while I was at my parents house a few weeks ago and I love it. I can't wait to pick up the new album that comes out this Friday. Has anyone heard the new tunes? What do you think?
I'm heading home finally, and I can't wait to see all of my family and friends. I leave on Saturday and I am eating a cheese steak (well, plain steak w/ sauce) as soon as I land! I can't wait! It's been 8 months since I've been home and I miss everyone. I'm going to see my buddy's band play, I'm going down the shore (yes, we say down the shore in Wildwood, NJ for my Cali. friends), I'm going to fly a kite and I'm going to a Phillies game. It will rock. I can't wait!
So, I finally got around to trying to do a screen capture from my brief half of a second in "The Departed". Thanks for the help Kev, I appreciate it. The first picture shows where I was originally seated right behind Matt Damon. As you can see, I would have definitely been in the shot. However, Martin Scorsese said my hair was too blonde and it was a distraction from Matt Damon's frame. So he asked me to switch seats with the guy on the other side of the classroom. I said, "Sure, with a smile"...when really I was thinking "damn!". So, anyway, check out the pics. You can just about see the side of my head over the instructor's shoulder. Ahh, it was a good time and it helped earn my SAG card. I dyed my hair black for a while after that one!
This is a funny clip. It's from an old school low budget inidie film called "Simon". I am supposed to be "the mover". ha! In reality, I had just come back from a long night in NYC on a different set and then drove out to the cuts to work on this film. I slept on some random couch for a few hours until they told me they were ready to film the scene. I was exhausted. Can you tell that I don't look so happy? Hey now, I can carry a table across the camera better than anyone! ha! The video is still converting on YouTube. So, when it's ready, I'll post it.
Metallica played at the only Ozzfest 2008 show in Dallas, TX this past weekend. It's the first time Metallica ever played on Ozzfest, and it's the first time that Ozzfest was just one show and not a traveling side show circus of freaks. Their new record is coming out next month, Sept. 12th to be exact and I'm counting down the days. They played a new song at Ozzfest called "Cyanide" and below is a video clip of it. This isn't going to be their first single, but it's a cool tune. Their first single is going to be released later this month and it's called "The Day That Never Comes". Enjoy.
Television show - TV Show - Yahoo! TV: "Heigl said last year in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. 'But within the last five years, I've decided it's not worth"
My good friend called me from back East to see if I was ok, that was cool. I called all my friends in Cali. to make sure they were ok as well. My one friend said she was sleeping and thought that there were a bunch of kids running on top of her ceiling for a second when she woke up. Then she quickly realized it was an earthquake and ran for it. Check out the Judge Judy show clip on CNN.com, it's a trip. She ducks under her desk and takes cover as people are looking around and wondering what they should do?
"Earthquake, We got an Earthquake, Earthquake...it's still happening, we got an Earthquake" Man, this guy likes to say Earthquake. This angle sucks, but there is a better one on CNN.com.
Professor Randy Pausch made a surprise return to Carnegie Mellon University to deliver an inspirational speech to the Class of 2008 at the Commencement ceremony on May 18, 2008.
